MAPLEWOOD, Mo. – If you’re craving some fine-cut meats, a St. Louis-area butcher shop was recently praised among the best in the United States, according to a national poll.
The butcher shop was one of several nominated for national spotlight through the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. A panel recently nominated butcher shops of many sizes and specialties, and butchers with quality locally-sourced selections fared well.

I would definitely check this place out if I still lived in St. Louis. I'll bet their sausage is great. Here's their web site, in case you didn't claim click through the article.

I just went Friday and was incredibly underwhelmed. 2 small display cases and a fridge with some potato salad and slaw. This place isn't even #3 in St Louis. Kenricks Meats and Catering and LeGrand's Market have much better butcher counters and overwhelmingly better prepared foods.
Don't waste your time.

Been there one time. Good quality meats, but as you said, very underwhelming selection. And the prices. They list a lot of stuff but had only a very limited selection in their case. A better choice would be G&W Meats and Bavarian Sausage. They actually have dozens of sausages and bratwursts in their display cases. And better prices.edwin drood wrote: ↑14 Sep 2024 22:27 pm I would definitely check this place out if I still lived in St. Louis. I'll bet their sausage is great.
