The organization is akin to a horse's (donkey) when it comes to a fan base which has supported this franchise faithfully for generations.passthebuck wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 12:21 pm I can't put mlb app on either of my tvs, and as of right now amazon prime doesn't have it,so unless one of my services decides to carry Cardinal tv, it is going to be a double paywall for me to view. (Mlb tv and Cardinals tv). I haven't even been able to watch just 1 of the "free" spring training games anywhere. I've tried pretty hard, and while I'm not the most tech savy, I can only guess how much worse it is for those even older than me. It just isn't worth the hassle.
These people are leaving so much on the table. Alienating their fans.
Any chance that Spectrum will reach a deal to televise most Cardinals games this season for their subscribers? Comparable to FanDuel last season. That would be a very popular development with many if they can pull it off.passthebuck wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 12:21 pm I can't put mlb app on either of my tvs, and as of right now amazon prime doesn't have it,so unless one of my services decides to carry Cardinal tv, it is going to be a double paywall for me to view. most older folks won't get to see their beloved Birds this year except for the 10 local games (channel 4) and the few national games that are airingpassthebuck wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 12:21 pm I can't put mlb app on either of my tvs, and as of right now amazon prime doesn't have it,so unless one of my services decides to carry Cardinal tv, it is going to be a double paywall for me to view. They told me earlier to check back in March. Well it’s March and they still can’t tell me anything.Shady wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 12:26 pmAny chance that Spectrum will reach a deal to televise most Cardinals games this season for their subscribers? Hopefully, Spectrum will get something worked out before the regular season starts.kyace wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 12:42 pmThey told me earlier to check back in March. I have the mlb package and have only seen one game broadcast by the Mets against the Cards. No Cards broadcast.

However, for what it is worth, I don't think that has anything to do with the app. I just think the games being televised are few and far between. It seems this has always been the case, even when watching on Fan Duel, Bally's/Fox Sports Midwest during the spring.
I am hopeful that I will get EVERY Cards game with the app I purchased.
