Strange I got a warning for only posting a link and not a paragraph on the subject.
Well, I guess if they are not expected to win, he is the right guy.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:23 am Will he become so great that we will look back in shame at the attempts to remove him according to CT.
He’s my view, right wrong and most likely indifferent. But the odds makers got them around 70 wins. Those guys do this for a living. That’s where I draw my expectations.OldRed wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:24 amWell, I guess if they are not expected to win, he is the right guy.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:23 am Will he become so great that we will look back in shame at the attempts to remove him according to CT.

Ha. It’s early for the popcorn and coke. So I’ll just savor a bowl.
Wouldn't you think that over time, he has to improve? Maybe he can step up and do a better job. My complaints have been his lineup changes after the Cardinals have had a brief, successful run, and his use of the pitching staff. Here is hoping that he does improve. Per the record, with the collective bargaining debacle coming up, he is about the best financial option for the Cardinals.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:23 am Will he become so great that we will look back in shame at the attempts to remove him according to CT.
Rumor was Willy Wonka was heavy after him to to be the manager in his chocolate factoryScotchMIrish wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:42 am I don't understand why they would do that. Did they think some other team would hire him away? Did they think this will excite the fans who stopped attending games?
Couple thoughts. If he wins this year any at all over the 70 predictions, he’s a winner. Then the lockout. Does that count as his year two?Banner29 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:47 amRumor was Willy Wonka was heavy after him to to be the manager in his chocolate factoryScotchMIrish wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:42 am I don't understand why they would do that. As I have explained were perfect insight and clarity previously, DeWitt treasures loyalty above all things.ScotchMIrish wrote: ↑01 Mar 2026 08:42 am I don't understand why they would do that.
