Been some pretty good pitching from Fitts, Svanson, and Cijntje among others.

3 run HR from Gorman.

Fitts impressed me. It was great to see Gorman hit it over the fence.

Agree that the pitching has looked good today. First look for me at Cijntje. Anxious to see him in person in a couple of weeks, but his RH stuff looked impressive.

Gastelum shuts Mets down in 9th... Cards win 6-0 and belt out 10 hits.

I think Gastelum will be a fine late inning guy soon.

Yes !
It boggles my mind how the guy taking over (for 5 year stretch) and telling everyone he will be making decisions for the 'long term' over 'short term' to rebuil the organization to a winning team has gotten heat in just his first 5 months here.
Especially interesting to read comments such as ' I want to give Bloom a fair shake '... and then within days start criticizing him , second guessing his moves (or non moves ) .

I like the at bats by Davis today.

He's a first round pick that needs to show something this year.

Criticism to be taken with a grain of salt.
