Tyler Bradt removed ... Disaster ! Didn't throw a strike to any of those last three guys . All of that with 2 outs too.

Don't worry Picone came in ... now he allowed a single and two more Nats scored. 5 runs in this inning ..all with 2 outs .
Maybe DeWitt can come in and stop the bleeding and get the final out ... Couldn't do much worse

Finally inning over .

Score is 6-1 but Nationals have 4 hits to Cardinals 3 ... who would guess that seeing the score ?

The good thing is mason molina and Bradt have about a 1% chance of pitching in the majors this season

What an inning. 5 runs on two hits a boatload of walks and a wild pitch. A ridiculous inning.

I don’t know much about Bradt but Molina has some pretty high upside potential as a reliever if he gets better control everything I read said he’s got a very good fast ball change up combination and did have a good year year between A and A+ striking out 115 in 95 innings

Losing begets losing. I know the purpose of ST. However, the ability to be competitive has to be addressed.

We won the game yesterday with some similar late inning mad capped hijinx by the Nats.

We might have to become more accepting of that. The Cards have acquired a ton of guys who can light up the radar gun - Molina being one of them. But can they find the zone consistently?

Don’t get me wrong: it’s great to finally have guys in the system with K/9s north of 9.0. The pitching side of baseball has spent a great deal of resources on getting guys to throw 100 mph, but you rarely hear equal amount of excitement about command.

That’s where I’m interested in learning more about this player development overhaul.
