But the way the Cardinals current offense is shaping up. If at the All Star break, both Baez and Rodriguez are thriving in the minors and the Cardinals offense is struggling. Will the Cardinals be tempted to bring one or both up? Or not want to start their MLB clock.

They won't call them up, but it won't be because of their clock. They won't call them up because the Cardinals are struggling. They will call them up when they are ready to play at the major league level.

So was Walker "ready to play at the major league level"?. And Gorman.

there is really no purpose to bring them up this year. Especially Rainiel. I wouldn't be shocked if Baez gets a glance but it's only for his own development. Rodgriguez serves no purpose this year at the major league level, Baez, maybe just to get a view

Walker was pretty good when he first started. He had a 12-game hitting streak. The Cardinals started to make adjustments after he struggled. He has never been the same. He was not ready to play in the outfield when he came up.

both players you mentioned actually hot relatively well when they were brought up. thwy just collapsed after. but if ylu think their problems were a result of coming up too early? why would you want to repeat that?

Bernal could be here later in the season if Bloom deals P. Pages.

Baez will need a super spring to stick but likely starts at AAA w/a shot to come up later (after Noot is dealt?) if he's having a good start at Memphis.

R.R. is at least two years away, 2028 at the earliest.

No, and that's the point.

A tremendous number of bad things would need to occur for Rodriguez to make the leap
this season not just him being good. Baez just needs to have what has happened in the outfield
to continue along with him continuing what he did in 2025 to get a shot. IMO there is a
difference in those events.
