interesting ranking at only 15 for the under 25 crowd. Seems like we still just don't have enough MLB ready young talent to rank well.

Lazy reporting

The Cardinals, long a beacon of small-market sustainability, are officially in rebuild mode. With president of baseball operations Chaim Bloom at the helm, St. Louis dealt away four high-priced veterans over the winter: Sonny Gray, Willson Contreras, Nolan Arenado and Brendan Donovan. The Cardinals ate money in each trade to improve the quality of prospects they acquired. That helped propel St. Louis’ farm system from simply solid to a top-10 or even top-five system in the sport.

The Cardinals, long a beacon of small-market sustainability...........

Small market my a z z

St. Louis may not rank in the Top 15-20 TV markets (24th) but the Cardinals draw from the largest amount of states in MLB, drew 3+M for over two decades and had revenues that put them in the Top 10 of MLB until recently.

Just a matter of perception……and what the author believes

In many areas of the country missouri has long been thought of as hooterville…

The locals think it is a great cosmopolitan city…

They are both wrong….
