No homeruns, and they aren't going to average 6 runs a game. LOL It is nice to see them cut down on strikeouts but as I read the names I couldn't help but think that most won't break with the team. I guess we'll see though.
this may be the year we figure out just what size contract has to play for DeWitt --- at some point once they all get low enough is it the best man up?
I knew people that were saying it was significant they lost the first game even though the pitchers that gave up the runs won’t be on the team on opening day would dismiss the win if they won today lol so funny I totally called it yesterday
You think they'll average 6 runs a game doosh? Keep licking those boots.ecleme22 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 15:57 pm“Yeah but no home runs!”

Keep crying because they didn’t win the “right way” lolCCard wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 16:58 pmYou think they'll average 6 runs a game doosh? Keep licking those boots.ecleme22 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 15:57 pm“Yeah but no home runs!”

Funny how people take a post out of context and try to rewrite it. I put the line from game one and said that will probably happen frequently with this team. All of you immediately jump on it like it's some kind of rare gotcha. LOL Whitey Herzog said he knew one thing going into a season, they were going to win 60 games and lose 60 games it the 42 in the middle that would decide the season. They will win 60 but they will lose a lot more than 60 most likely.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 15:55 pmI knew people that were saying it was significant they lost the first game even though the pitchers that gave up the runs won’t be on the team on opening day would dismiss the win if they won today lol so funny I totally called it yesterday
Apparently the lineup construction was better in game 2!Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 15:55 pmI knew people that were saying it was significant they lost the first game even though the pitchers that gave up the runs won’t be on the team on opening day would dismiss the win if they won today lol so funny I totally called it yesterday

Nah, you're just a doosh. Writing an OP after the first game how the team didn't score and we should "get used to it." Then they scored 6 in the second game, and you're like, "Yeah, but no home runs."CCard wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 16:58 pmYou think they'll average 6 runs a game doosh? We are in the middle of a rebuild, of course we will lose more than 60. I don’t understand how so many fans still can’t accept this. The hope is there isn’t a lockout next season, and the stockpiling of prospects allows us to have another decade of sustained success.CCard wrote: ↑22 Feb 2026 17:03 pmFunny how people take a post out of context and try to rewrite it. As I've said over and over, you don't have to be a loser to rebuild. Every (bleep) MLB team rebuilds to some extent every year. Not spending the money to make this team competitive is a con game. You all just can't seem to get that through your heads.DyadicEffect wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 06:17 amWe are in the middle of a rebuild, of course we will lose more than 60.
