It is absolutely too early to pass judgment on Bloom, yet! He can only do so much, due to DeWitt’s agenda prior to the CBA!
That being said, I haven’t been overly thrilled with his moves so far, especially the Donovan trade and the moves made since. When you consider the restraints DeWitt has placed upon him this off-season, mainly just concerned with cutting payroll, there has been only so much he could do! This year’s trade deadline, and next off-season should give a clearer picture as to what kind of a POBO he will be for the Cardinals. There is still hope!

Yes those constraints may prove the difference between success and failure. But if they don’t loosen significantly sooner than later, bloom may just find greener pastures elsewhere
