Some will say, its fhe first game of ST big deal? I get that, but if you're playing a game, you might as well set your lineup in a way that optimizes your players. Marmol does not know how to do this. Looks like he just drew out of a hat in the clubhouse this morning.

Like you said C4L it's STing and you want your starters to get their PA's in and their work done early (so they can hit the golf course and beach! )

My problem w/Oli is he's shown in STing past that his spring lineups tend to mirror his regular season lineups (although we won't see Pages at clean-up unless he's completely lost his mind).

But Winn is NOT a lead-off man and my fear if we keep seeing him there throughout the spring is Oli is going to force him there (likely at the behest of Winn himself).

I am no Oli fan, but Walker is probably nursing some small injury or he would be out there. As for the batting order... whatever, it is ST first game.

I can't wait until Oli signs that contract extension.

A CT spring trainer game 1 lineup bitchfest. Who would've ever guessed?
