It is also Redbird Rants. He had the surgery earlier in off-season, from DGoold.

I recall reading about this aneurysm surgery when the trade was announced.

It was very transparent. This really isn't news IMO.

Sorry if old news. I knew he had a shoulder issue. Not sure why CBS posted just a few hours ago. Maybe out until June was news. Sorry again.

No need to apologize. I wasn't trying to condescend. Sorry if it came across that way.

No worries, made news a while ago and apparently was made known prior to trade. Hopefully he makes a solid recovery and remains healthy

The June part is not old news. It was unclear how long he'd be down after the surgery. Thanks for the input.

It didn’t. I just hated to post old news.

Last year in his first professional season, he pitched a whopping 38 innings. If this properly addresses his problem he can well exceed that total even starting in June. The talent is there- work for health.

You didn’t.
There was going to be speculation after his surgery.
Absolutely no reason to rush him.
I like his potential as do many others!

This was first reported weeks ago in the Post-Dispatch.
https://www.stltoday.com/sports/profess ... 2e961.html
It was part of a larger article on the connection between two of the prospects acquired in separate trades, but Clarke and the Cardinals first disclosed the surgery to the Post-Dispatch at the time.
Thanks for reading.

Have to hope it’s a one off and he makes a miraculous comeback.
But for a franchise snakebit by
Alex Reyes
Tink Hence
Tecoah Roby
And other top talents that have never been healthy Clark is certainly concerning.
