If he does all these things then he won’t credit. If he doesn’t do these things then he will get blamed in here.

Given current win projections he’d be in the conversation with any playoff berth. A division win would probably secure it.

That is often how it goes in sports . Detractors of a manager/head coach that wants him gone rarely will give him the credit if he flips things and the team does well ... The normal reaction is : Oh he was lucky ! Player A or B had a career year for him. He won X number of 1-run games. Things just fell his way . Another favorite is ....Well yeah, he won 90 games this year with all the luck going his way . He won 90 before. He sure won't repeat that in 2027. Just wait! You'll see !
