Anyone else have a baseball encyclopedia?

I bought one during the 1981 baseball strike. Before the internet this was the equivalent of Baseball Reference.com
If I could have just one book for the rest of my life it would be Baseball Encyclopedia.
(Baseball Encyclopedia shows stats for every player who ever played.)

You would use it to see baseball stats in pre-internet days.

No, but I did have a paperback edition of the Bill James Baseball Abstract.

Old shabby paper. Loved it. And thick. Serious coverage by real writers.
Definitely loved the paper and hated it when they went to a more magazine product.
And every MLB team had coverage every issue which included their farm system. While they covered other sports, TSN's main focus was baseball.

Weekly. Even as a young kid i remember thinking, how do they do it weekly. Early 60’s. Weekly.
