I think 36 Cardinal players have worn that number. Many pitchers.
Kyle Lohse is the first one that comes to mind when I see #26. I always thought it was a head scratcher not resigning him after 2012. We certainly could’ve used another arm and those innings he threw for Milwaukee in ‘13 and ‘14.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 08:05 amI think 36 Cardinal players have worn that number. If my research is correct- bud Norris, Anthony Reyes, Bill White, Speizio, Tony Peña. I think these are correct.rage-STL wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 08:35 amKyle Lohse is the first one that comes to mind when I see #26. I always thought it was a head scratcher not resigning him after 2012. My attitude is based on the over hype. It’s sad when an unproven player is our main distraction going into the season. But that’s where we are I guess. I think JJ will be a great player but I’m not licking the mud off his cleats like you.
Might want to hold onto that Memphis jersey…sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 08:22 amSo what!! Haven’t you seen the hype. This is a certainty retired number. Get em while they’re cheap. Ha.

We understand you’re rockin’ a huge boner for the young man…..but being the best hitter on this team is a really low bar …Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 10:58 amNo shot.
