OT- Verlander

I saw that Verlander plans to pitch well into his mid 40. He's at 43 now with 266 wins. Now no doubt he's a HOFer. How many wins will he end up with? Any chance at 300?

Personally I don't think he can make 300 but I (bleep) sure ain't betting real money against him. I'd say around 285-290 will be it.

How about strikeouts, he's at 3553, needs 447 for 4,000 - can he make it? He had 137 last year. I think he will short on that one too. Maybe 3800?

No won’t make 300. As a starter. Requires five plus innings and a lock down pen. Too many No Decisions.

I think he ends up around 275-280. I hope he's not one of those guys that hangs around too long and becomes a shell of himself to the point of embarrassment similar to what Wainwright did

agree

what is it with these guys and some arbitrary numbers??

Verlander has won a Cy Young, a World Series, thrown multiple no-hitters.....he is a lock for the HOF

I don't care at all if he embarrasses himself........but as with wainwright, it's not right to embarrass the club...

It's not OT if you are talking about baseball.

No chance at 300. No chance at 4000 ks.
