It will be interesting to see what he signs for. Probably more than MLB minimum but I doubt anything North of $2 million.

Fedde should fail his physical if the doctor is a White Sox fan.

Fedde should be paying the W Sox to play. Like the Cardinals, the W Sox need new ownership.

LOL - he will provide depth likely at a bargain price. One think I don't understand about the White Sox is why their payroll is so low. One of the biggest markets in MLB.

Tells me they have little confidence in their youth, and little confidence in others youth. So they sign an over the hill vet.

On the other hand, the Cardinals are loaded with young arms. Good position to be in.

In fairness, the White Sox have some interesting young pitchers.

Who will the Cards trade for him at the deadline this year? Blue font not needed, I hope.

See I know not what I talk about- ha. Then that’s nuts- if they have just as good ready, young, then give them the starts.

Well, like us, not all of their interesting young pitching is ready. Some is, but the best is yet to come for them.

So they have a couple ready, and better behind.

What's amusing is the Red Sox and Cubs in those ancient ballparks without a lot of the modern amenities that owners insist are the key to success are both top 10 in MLB payroll and will remain so due to the allure of the historic ballpark.

Historic is certainly a draw..

Safety is certainly a draw..

The Sox ballpark is neither..

True but that's not the only ballpark in a high crime area. I remember the Orioles cancelled a home game due riots in the neighborhood adjoining the ballpark. A lot of people don't realize how dangerous the area across the street from the Enterprise Center is. Be careful where you park.

Then they played a game with empty stands…
