Yes, got the feeling they did not want to change up his warm up bull pen sessions that he is used to .. keep his routine the same for now .ClassicO wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 11:42 am Thanks for the heads up. His transparency and straightforwardness are a breath of fresh air.
Dumb question by Goold with his statement that we've traded "four All-Stars." No mention that three weren't All-Stars since 2023 (NA and Sonny) and 2022 (WC).
He had a great answer for Jurrangelo Cijntje, concentrating mostly on RHP moving forward, but still keeping him throwing BPs. etc. until they evaluated him more.
He emphasized concentrating on huge upside. A higher risk for a higher ceiling is a good strategy.
You're welcome on the heads up ..ClassicO wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 11:42 am Thanks for the heads up. His transparency and straightforwardness are a breath of fresh air.

Its actually 5 all stars with Helsley. But you are missing the point. Its not about whether we are trading current all stars, but about the fact that we did have all star caliber talent on this roster (at any recentish point in the past) and whether we are sufficiently reloading/developing to the level of quality and beyond.ClassicO wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 11:42 am Thanks for the heads up. Yes but our fan base also has a lot of fans that go to games for the name on the Jersey so I can see some relevance.ClassicO wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 11:42 am Thanks for the heads up. His transparency and straightforwardness are a breath of fresh air.

Yes, starting with Donovan comments was very nice. Also impressed when he is asked a two-part question from a media member.rockondlouie wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 13:25 pmDittocraviduce wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 13:23 pmChaim was a class act with his praise of Donny to lead off the Presser.KeeptheRamsinSTL wrote: ↑03 Feb 2026 11:31 am It is online here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-_preCTWVY
