Good morning.
Six Cardinals have played in 162 or more games in a season. No one since 1989.
In 1964, Boyer and Flood did it. In 63, Bill White did it. However, in 1989, three cardinals played 162 games or more, with the high of 163.
Can you name these household names from 1989?

There was 6 that year that played 155 or more. A couple of surprises I thought.

Who holds the Cardinal record for most plate appearances in a season?
Those two surprised me, but I was shocked that Guerrero played in all 162.

Who holds the Cardinal record for most plate appearances in a season?
including post season or only regular season?
I’m gonna say all the early people didn’t have enough games. I’m gonna say it’s from the 2004, 11, or 13 team.

Brock did have a couple more than Musial. Interesting Stan had a few seasons with more than 700 plate appearances in a 154-game schedule.

Me too. My first thought was Pedro, but I figured the old guy must have had a day off from the scorching Busch carpet!

So Brock was not the answer, so I thought maybe it was Curt Flood, but he is not the season PA leader for the Cardinals either. The player who is I would never have guessed.
