Hope so. The key is to put him in the lineup and just freaking leave him alone... Oli. Don't jerk the kid around. He can bat 7th for all I care as long as he gets to play most every day

Now if he can teach Gorman how to keep that right leg from bailing every swing……

I've read a few reports that claim batting titles could be in his future!

Look, even Willy Mays and Ted Williams had adjustment periods, as rookies. Let him earn his way in, as most rookies do. If he learns, and appears to be that type, he’ll take off during the subsequent season

I believe you have him correctly targeted.
When I think of his game, I can see something similar to George Brett. 2B or 3B isn't really all that important. His glove looks to be relatively good. I am looking forward to him on either side of Winn.

We'd all love a Brett career for JJ. I like that comp, D.A.
can JJ make that little boost of power work in the Majors? I knew he could hit 10-15 HR...his swing is too good...but he managed 17 HR in only 410 AB's...is he a 20 HR in the majors? I'm not sure on that, but he could cross that 20 HR threshold a few seasons.

Brett had a lifetime .305 BA and .857 OPS... I would take that all day long from JJW. Honestly, I don't care if he hits 10-15 dingers and no more if he is hitting balls in the gaps all the time.

Would not have expected that K rate for Taveras. What might have been
