Nolan Gorman: 20 HR, 15 2B

Thomas Saggese: 10 HR, 20 2B

Anyone else excited about the potential between these two at 3B/2B?

I’m not excited at all about Saggese.

I do think there is an opportunity there, but 2025 Gorman was actually better against LHP (.740 OPS/309 PA) than RHP (.644 OPS/93 PA)

You have the PAs backward; he had far more PAs against RHP.

I’ve seen enough of Gorman. I have not given up on Saggese.

You’re right, I did. I’ve been up since 3:50 and it got to me.

Dark thirty. Coffee time.

And when the morning light, comes creeping in; we’ll get up and do it again. Amen.

I was thinking more ball-peen hammer time.

While I recognize there is likely a notification option I could simply shut-off, the ball-peen hammer option still feels more satisfying after 2 cups of coffee.

Yea I hear ya. Don’t let the past remind us, of what we are not now. Let the anger wash away. Enjoy the peace that is your reward. You time. Quiet. Dark. Cold?

I get up to pee a couple times. Usually I will mess with one of my cats. Then I’m awake. Could be anywhere from 3:30 ish to 6. Pot of coffee/

I’m a lot more excited over Saggese than I am Gorman who IMO has shown us what he is.

I hope I’m wrong but Gorman just looked helpless for huge stretches the last 2 years. And his defense has been bad, no other way to spin it.

I’d agree. Horrible defense for a team breaking in young staff. Pitchers thrive on stud defense. Falter under the load of additional base runners then additional pitches, then third time thru.

All gets pushed forward with an error.

Per AI = Use the Settings app on your watch or the Watch app on your iPhone to find the Activity settings and toggle off Stand Reminders, preventing those hourly nudges to get up and move without affecting your Stand goal tracking

JMHO, but I think Jose Fermin should be in front of Saggese

I second that. IMO Fermin has a better chance to be an everyday player.

He’s older with both elite plate discipline and bat to ball skills. He should get first crack over Saggese

I suppose I'm curious, just because so far that seems like what they have to work with. Excited is not a word I would use for that platoon. Better, would be better.
