Good morning Vietnam!
Hey was wondering what it would take from our staff to win 81 games or more.
2025
Libby 8-12
Mcg 8-4
Pallante 6 wins
22 wins from existing starters.
Bullpen and other starts. 31
That’s 53 wins from the entire staff. This is minus Gray Mik and Fedde.
2026 projections.
Libby 12 wins.
May 12 wins
mcg 11 wins
Starter 4- 10 wins
Starter 5- 8 wins
Starter 6 6 wins.
That’s 50 projected wins. If the pen throws another 31 wins, we reach 81.
Does this seem attainable.

Seems purely imaginative Dog. Can't even reasonably try and prohect pitchers win total without taking the offense in to consideration. For example. Skenes had a low 2 ERA this past season, and it amounted to like 11 wins.
I know its just for offseason conversation, but when you look at what happened to Skenes last year, its like throwing darts at a concrete wall hoping to get a few to stick, because I dont see this Cardinal team being any better offensively than the Pirates were last year. Im hoping that they surprise all of us.

Yea I was strictly attempting to promote conversation. I thought my numbers were modest. I did take into consideration the current roster before we swap some.
Either way, a small template of performance.
