Atlanta Braves Public Co Reporting

Key Financial Highlights (Q3 2025):
Total Revenue: $312 million (up 7% YoY)
Baseball Revenue: $284 million (up 4% YoY)
Mixed-Use (Battery Atlanta) Revenue: $27 million (up 56% YoY)
Adjusted OIBDA (Operating Income): $67 million (up 114% YoY)

Braves are a public company, they report quarterly. Up YoY is a good thing
Cards would probably be in a similar position if the Knuckleheads running it hadn’t destroyed their loyal fan base the last few years
If you think that fanbase(revenue source) will return soon by stocking the minor leagues and hoping a couple pan out you also will probably be looking
Skyward tomorrow night hoping to get a glimpse of Santa and his reindeer

Well they haven’t turned out the past couple of years when the cardinals were trying to win so there won’t be any change. I mean you’ve been whining and crying about them traded gray and Contreras who you whined and cried about when they were signed then whined and cried about them the whole time they were here and now whine and cry about them being traded

Thanks for posting. This is very revealing, especially when compared to that of the Dodgers. No way the Cardinals revenue is more, so that gives you a good idea of what is the Cardinals' upper limit.

I know you are just tired of Goldfan’s posts, but I have to ask Ozzie’sfan, do you seriously think the Cardinals have tried to win the last two years? I actually could go back a few years farther, but I think you get my point.

The Braves went through a rebuild from 2014-2017, loading up their farm system, to get where they are at now:

2014: 79-83 and 2.3 mil in attendance
2015: 67-95 and 2.0 mil in attendance
2016: 68-93 and 2.0 mil in attendance
2017: 72-90 and 2.5 mil in attendance

Now that they are a contender each year, they hover around 3 mil in attendance.

They haven't really "tried" in probably close to 10 years or so.

I’m tired of posters who feel as thought they have to carry water for a Billionaire who has reaped Multple billions from this fanbase the last 30yrs.
Excusing poor management which got things to this point. And now that were her with a terrible product the fans think the only solution is to watch a terrible team for a few more season,…..until the Billionaire owner is “comfortable” to spend again……to entertain THEM

This is going to take time for DeWitt to fix the damage he has done. Don’t think many think it will be quick. It can be fixed, but it will take a long painful process to do it. Unlike some want to believe there is no quick fix to this.

Now it falls on Bloom to figure out how to fix it. Time will tell if his decisions are the correct ones.

My greatest fear is DeWitt is tying the Cardinals future to MLB getting a salary cap. If that’s the case, a generation will grow up before Cardinals fans see a serious World Series contender. That will set them into a dark 20 year run (even after his son takes over I don’t see the direction changing).

Exactly you aren’t going to be able to spend your way out of a poor development system that can’t produce big league players especially when it can’t produce pitching

How did they ever recover their fan base when they decided to do a multi year rebuild a few years ago? It’s almost like the rebuild helped get to where they are today. And it looks like they might be headed for another before too long.
