Filthy stuff. Throwing 98mph at times. Evidently doesn’t waste a pitch with two strikes. He goes for the K. Very impressive

I contrast what I see of Dobbins with Pallante who has amazing stuff. Pallante however gets ahead 0-2 or 1-2 and throws balls two feet off the plate. That causes him to lose his release point and he loses the hitter. Dobbins drills down for strike three. No non competitive pitches. He goes after them. That our pitching coach couldn’t fix Pallante makes me hope Dusty what’s his name leaves Dobbins alone.

I like Contreras but the move made sense.
As for the return? I know very little about the prospects but considering WC’s age/etc I didn’t think he’d bring that much back.
Time will tell of course.
