Trading WC is a GOOD THING for the now and the future

It’s definitely not the huge signal of impending doom so many of you think it is.
A huge part of this misunderstanding is your overvaluing of one of the worst signings in baseball.
You numbers clingers who use falacial logic to say the deal was good bc of the numbers to dollars ratio are the reason humanity is so easily fooled by more important things than baseball decisions.
Our primary division rival wanted NOTHING to do with WC. They wanted his butt gone. They were fed up with the ipad and tv smashing in the clubhouse. The emotional antics (not leadership). The maxing out at 20 HRs. Can’t catch. Doesn’t have the power to justify 1B. They wanted Nothing NOTHING nothing at all to do with him. Neither did the rest of the entire MLB.
Our next most important division rival got his younger, better hitting, better fielding, and cheaper brother!
This was a mistake on so many levels from day 1.
After Yadi, a veteran backup/stopgap guy should have been given 1-3 years depending on who it was and for how much. Ivan Herrera should have been slotted into that role at cost control price.
The Cardinals are better off now and in the near and far future without WC.
You are wrong.
You were wrong.
You were proven wrong.
It didn’t work out.
1B didn’t help anything.
OWN IT.
