No one seems to be talking much about him. I think he might have the highest ceiling of the three pitchers. Gets high spin rates on all of his pitches and has limited walks for the most part. After reading his profile and watching some video, I cant understand how he doesnt miss more bats. Boston had him pitch out of the bullpen a few times, which I wonder if they were piggy backs. But he did not fare well out of the BP and his starter only stats look way better than his year end stats suggest. 3.59 ERA and K/BB of 3.82 as a Starter is pretty decent.

Was teammates with recent Cards draft pick Tanner Franklin in his draft year. If you remember, the story on Franklin was that Kennesaw st had him so messed up that Tennessee had to do a complete rebuild of his mechanics and pitches. Makes me wonder if Aita just needs better coaching to get to that next level as a prospect.

High spin rate, increasing velocity and potential for 2, perhaps even 3 plus pitches. Get him on the assembly line. Pretty soon we will have more quality prospects than positions on the farm. 8O

We already do. I was attempting to put rotations together and it's clear that they are going to have to piggy back pretty extensively.
