OK. What's Berggren's Ceiling?

Post by John Cocktoastin »

Wow. Like his skill set. Quick hands and accurate. Not to mention the new mojo vibe we need.

What say you?

The initial scouting report and his skill set would tell you he can score 25 but let's check back in a month to see if he's still working hard

I was wondering what the deal was in Detroit. Didn't seem like they had any confidence in him, or gave him what looked like a fair shot.

#33 (2nd round) overall pick. Described as a tenacious 2 way player with a non stop motor, great hands, and a great skater. He sure looks the part so far.

Wouldn't that be sad if the Yzerplan went sideways because the gave one of their prized youngsters to Blues too early. Ya love to see it

His ceiling is the Hall of Fame. His floor is waivers in two weeks.

Dobber Prospects, which does a great job rating prospects even though it's a fantasy hockey site, pegged him at point per game as his NHL ceiling in 2024. I dunno man, I think the Wings might have just done something not smart.

I thought Patty was going to be a stud. He really looked the part...until he didn't.

It would be nice if he's middle six, likely third liner, and he's a part of the future core. 20/20 annually would be great. Hopefully, he bonds with other Scandanavian Blues and he's a fan favorite.
