I love the sense of urgency.
Marmol needs to make urgency part of his managing process because up till now he has shown none.

I would add number 5 and say bloom actually has a plan and a direction and it’s not just hope to squeak in somehow and pray for miracles

I would add number 5 and say bloom actually has a plan and a direction and it’s not just hope to squeak in somehow and pray for miracles
Agree with your Bloom id not ‘hoping and praying for a miracle’.
If that was the case, we may be seeing Goold, Hochman writing articles with headlines .. Bloom is praying for Miracle on Clarke St.

5. Speaking in plain, straight forward language to the fan base instead of "Mo speak"
6. Hiring MLB scouts to scour the league for potential major league trade targets
7. Actually still working after the Winter Meetings to make trades and sign free agents, unlike the former POBO who to many times made his one move and wasn't heard from again till mid season

Coincidentally, the cracks in the organization started popping up following the 2019 season, particularly when it came to player development.
Rather than spend money on coaches and support staff, John Mozeliak and the Cardinals front office and ownership groups preferred spending on the major-league roster.
...
When we look back at how things went off the rails, Mozeliak is (quite deservedly) the face of the downfall but we don't need to forget Dewitt's complicity in all of this.
He has put in place the right man to get things turned around. All we can hope is that Dewitt Jr, and Dewitt III, can see things through to fruition.

WERE being the key word. I have no doubt John Mozaliak will be a Cardinal Hall of Famer. But the last 8 years has been tough as a fan. They became overly cautious and patient, and have lacked a vision.
I absolutely love the transparency and urgency Bloom is displaying.
