Thought there would be more conversation on Donovan .

That doesn't change the buzz today.

I'm guessing Marte is going to get more talk because he is better (4 seasons above 4 War, 2 above 6 War) so he has the potential to be an elite centerpiece player of a team. However, both are ultimately going to be viewed valuable as compliments to already contending teams.

But the ultimate question is if he is really available and what is the price that the Diamondbacks are asking.

That might be where Donovan ends up with more suitors and more realistic deals to be made. Still, we want the best offer we can get.

Teams are probably seeing what the cost on Marte would be compared to Donovan.
Good buyers will comparison shop.

Marte is also making avg $18M per season for the next 5 seasons. Donovan probably won't make more than a combined $15M in 26 and 27.

Marte has a BTV value of +69 vs. Donovan's +32.

Marte is signed for five years at a price that would be reflective of an ~2+ fWAR player. Even at 32, it's likely he's going to outproduce that contract by a sizeable margin over the next five years.

Marte he hit 28 home runs last season it’s not surprising teams would want him more. But Donovan no doubt has more interest from teams who don’t have much money to spend

Donovan should be MAD. He can't take this travesty!!! How dare Marte be mentioned more?!?!?!?

I don't think that's a bad deal for Marte. However, I like Donovan's chances of outperforming his contract the next 2 years more than I like Marte's chances of living up to/ or outperforming his for the next 5. And if Marte does go into a tailspin, he has a player option for another year at $11.5M he can tack on.
