BA just released their Mock draft after the lottery picks were selected.
Cardinals — Tyler Spangler, SS, De La Salle HS, Concord, Calif.
Spangler is one of the most highly regarded Stanford recruits in years, which could test just how unsignable Cardinal commits really are. He has a well-rounded game with a lean and projectable frame and strong contact skills to go with advanced defensive instincts and arm strength.
Tyler Spangler, INF, De La Salle HS, Concord, Calif.

Tyler Spangler, INF, De La Salle HS, Concord, Calif.
Spangler is a 6-foot-3 shortstop with a direct lefthanded swing to make frequent contact with an advanced offensive approach for his age. An above-average runner, Spangler has the size and bat speed that points to bigger power coming as well.

Player: Tyler Spangler
School: De La Salle (CA) Position(s): SS/3B
Height: 6’4″ Weight: 190 lbs. Bats: Left Throws: Right
Summary: The polish really stands out for Spangler, as he has a smooth, simple swing from the left side and generates plenty of bat speed. His ability to get the bat to ball is just about as good as any in the class, and there is a ton of power projection left. He currently does the most damage to the pull side where the natural loft in the swing allows him to lift the ball to right, there is projection in the frame making it easy to put above-average or better power potential grades. He has solid wheels on the bases and it gives him enough range for short, where he has really good hands and stays low on grounders despite his bigger frame. He should enter pro ball as a shortstop, but there is a real chance he grows to the point third base is in his future. There he has enough arm to be a solid defender, and the power profile works just fine.
