Probably. But, what is the value of a 40 man roster spot for a guy that won't pitch frequently?

No doubt! Yet another Mozeliak failure.
Signed as a starter 4 yrs, $ 44 million, provided 274 innings over 4 years, an average of 68.2 innings/year.
Of course the year prior to Mozeliak allowing himself to get hoodwinked Matz threw 150 innings.

Good guy to have in the bullpen but he will be 35 in May. Probably a low salary for a couple years.
