maybe Konnor Griffin is up in June to make the offense even better.

I still say trade The Butcher (Cruz) to KC for catcher Blake Mitchell+.

See if they're interested in Noot or Willy C.

He’s from Middletown, OH, about 20 min north of Cincinnati, so that could be in interesting homecoming.

Reds were in the playoffs too last year. Good young pitching staff. They might just be a Schwarber away from doing something serious. Hitting behind Elly oh my that would be something.

I give it no credibility on being a real offer. They are heading into a work stoppage.

They know that the players will use teams like the Pirates in their arguments against owners.

The Pirates owner knows that he is never taking the Pirates offer. It was only given so they can say they are trying.

It's possible they are offering just enough to placate their fans and to ensure he won't sign with them. They also "pursued" Naylor.

Taking a page from the Dimwitt/Mozo page, lol. It won't work - fans won't show up unless they actually spend or actually good. They have all the pitching in the world to be good though if they can get some bats.
