Joe Adell anyone?

The young, inexpensive RH hitting outfielder slugger might be available. Could Bloom get him in a Arenado deal with the Angels to add some punch to the lineup? Maybe include Nootbaar in the deal.

The Angels already traded Ward, i highly doubt that they also move Adell. Either would have filled a great Cardinals need, but they never pursued them.

honestly asking the following:
1) Is he available? "Might" from you is historically a folly. Please, provide the link for him being available. I'd honestly like to read it...and NO, Redbird Rants isn't a reliable news source, so don't link an article from them via MSN clickbait.
2) His defense and bat leave a lot to be desired, so why on earth would we want to start paying him heavy Arb years? Do you really want an OF of Walker and Adell ? Are you trying to kill VS2? And that OF would go from the current worst OF in the league to an even worse one...at the plate and the field.
I think the team wants to improve their overall hitting and fielding...not regress.
granted, yes, he does hit HR's, but at the detriment of everything else. If you harp on Contreras and Herrera for their average K rates, then you should harp on Adell's even worse K rates.

Jo Adell (1.2 fWAR) already has 4 years of service time, is arb eligible, and will be a free agent in 2028 (just like Donovan). And once again: They. Aren’t. Focused. On. Competing. Next. Year.

I still think Miquel Andujar should be the right handed bat to go after. 318. 10hr 44 rbi 321ab , their are not many players that come close to hitting 300 anymore. Still only 30 and probably healthy for a change. Would not cost a lot either.

"their are not many players that come close to hitting 300 anymore". That's one of the reasons, in addition to some power, that Burleson is such a valuable offensive commodity. Bloom needs to find a righty bat version of Burly, with a few seasons of team control, to trade for.

No, Victor Scott would be on the injured list due to dehydration and exhaustion before may. research is your friend

You just can't help yourself squeezing Burleson into any topic

This OP pertains to possible outfield targets for the Cardinals. And I described a good offensive measuring stick. Do you disagree?

Did you, though?
You failed to do any homework on Jo/Not "Joe"...other than he hit over 25 HR's last year.

Would you have any interest in the Cardinals acquiring a RH hitter comparable the Burleson?

Not really. We have huge need for a middle order bat. Huge/ you can get Burleson on all day, it’s another to drive him in.
This bat also would take up a position- Third, left, catcher, even right.

no...I'd prefer a RH with Power, Avg and halfway decent in the field...able to play RF and LF and not flail around
