23 min. LIVE press conference just completed ... Goold,Hochman , Karriker , Boston reporter, and others asking questions to Bloom on video conference. Questios expanded beyond the trade later in the presser.
No update with Arenado and Contreras . Said ne talked with neither since the Gray trade earlier. Heading into winter meetings still a lot of interest with other teams on other Cardinal players.

Hopefully, Bloom is not done with the Red Sox. Bregman has opted out of his deal and is being courted by Detroit as well as Boston. If he departs for the Tigers, might the Red Sox deal for Arenado?

One thing they did by going quickly with the Gray trade is
they essentially told teams that might be interested in the Cardinals
players is that they are no longer "waiting for the market
to develop"
Bring your offer if interested o/w could be gone.
I expect the largest move to be 12/05 when CT is off line

Agree! Mo burnt himself out here with his drivel years ago. Bloom is a breath of fresh air to listen to. No [nonsense] and gives as direct of an answer as possible. He seems to enjoy talking baseball.

So far, neither appears to be true of Bloom.
