He turned 63 today; saw this on twitter:
More wins than: Feller, Palmer, Verlander, Gibson, Pedro and Sabathia
More Innings than: Grove, Kershaw, Schilling and Morris.
More K's than: Marichal. Koufax, Tiant, Halladay and Ford.
It took awhile, but how many guys have this on their resume?

Craziest baseball trivia.
Only two 'Moyer's' have ever played MLB.
1. Ed Moyer (1885-1962)
2. Jamie Moyer (1962-Present)
Jamie was born the day Ed died.

Pretty impressive. Also gave up the most home runs in MLB history by a fair margin.

interesting enough, moyer was actually way better in his mid to upper 30s than he was in his 20s and early 30s .
he also was on par to his 20s for some chunk of his 40s.

I think he's one of the guys MattMitch is afraid to give a long contract to. He will probably only be a shell of himself in 2030.
Or maybe he is a guy we can sign, just so we can trade for prospects.

Surprised Mo didn't try to sign him at any point over the last 5 years.

Why can’t we flip him at the deadline.
