This is a good summary. NBC pays $200 million for Sunday night games and the Wild Card round. NFL/NBA conflicts presumably send MLB games to Peacock. Netflix pays $50mm for the HR Derby and other special events. So MLB starts out $300mm less than what ESPN gave them last year.
ESPN takes over sales and distribution rights for MLB.tv, plus in-market rights MLB took over for teams whose local distribution networks tanked. ESPN also has broadcast rights for mid-week games. ESPN pays $550mm for the three-year deal.

NBC, or CNBC and Peacock? Where you would have to get their prime package?
It’s been over for a few years, now. Very few games on TV at all, and viewing is like a box of chocolates: you never know repeat you’re gonna see, where and when.
Pro tiddlewinks , anyone?

I knew you’d see the humor. You helped. I took the Oro from your entry and added to mine. Thanx.

Per CNBC, MLB is taking a $300M/yr haircut on the deal. Perhaps it's time to stop treating "TV money" as an ever growing gravy train.

I wonder whether Curt Gowdy and Pee Wee Reese will do the play by play.

I heard Siera Santos (bilingual ) so half the game play by play in Spanish when the Latin players come to bat. Analyst will be Tiger Woods he knows s good swing. On field reporter will be Jimmy Kimmel sidekick Guiermo.

Those were two great announcing teams. NBC did a great job with their Saturday afternoon games. For July games they would place a meat thermometer in the bleached out AstroTurf that read 150°+.
