Boros has been a terrific businessman. Sure, we don't agree with him often, but there has always been an owner that pays.

But at end of the day the owners are to blame. +1 he’s an agent his job is to get the most money for his people. that's his job, putting money in his pockets by way of his clients pockets. As they say, don't hate the player. Sure. He went to the GM friend of mine and told him that he’d better up his offer for a FA player because a rival GM in the same division was hot after him and kept upping his offer. That the player could put the other team over the top in the division. My GM friend decided not to up his offer, and the player signed with a team in a different division. Several months later, the two GMs talked and the players name came up. The rival GM said they had never had any interest in that player.
