2nd unanimous winner for A's .. Mark McGuire did it too in 1987
Another Captain Obvious selection for AL winner !

I can't think of anyone else who should've won it. Kurtz is the real deal.

These are the Baseball Writers Association Awards BBWAA being announced this week of the GM Meetings in Las Vegas .
Nov.10- 13
Today Rookie of the Year award
Tues. Manager of the Year
Wed. Cy Young
Thurs . MVP
For those interested, MLB Network carrying the final selections on TV each night this week 6 pm - 7pm CT

That's really good young nucleus in Oakland.
