Here's the move: Bloom hires Mo as GM, and lets him do the honors. Because we all know there is nothing in the world Mo loves more than giving MM money. It wouldn't feel right to do it without him.

Ok don’t shoot me. I see he is wxpected to get a one year deal for $5 million. I would keep the door open. I’m not convinced we have enough arms. He might could fill a role.

However I would be surprised if he would want a deal with Cards. He is looking for the chance to reprove himself. Role with Cardinals would be spot position. Fitting into rotation at times, bull pen role at other times. If he does ok trade at deadline possibly.
