Very interesting hire. On the surface, it seems like a safe and controllable hire.

Heard right after hiring , Pujols is suing padres for $22M
For ‘cruel and unusual’ interview process.
Think his 2 nd interview went 9+ hours and he had to bring breakfast, lunch, dinner ? According to a tweet he put out.
This should make for some banter.

Neither he or Molina are. They will not accept the restraints placed on today’s managers. They will not show the proper deference to the FO staff, especially the geeks. Does that mean they reject analytics? Of course not. However, THEY want to decide how they’re used. Do GM’s only want yes men? Not, per se. They want managers who know, and stay, in their place. That won’t be Pujols or Molina

100% correct. They aren't going to be yes men like Oli and most of the other stooges that this geeks hire three days.
