This is so dumb.

I don't know, it seems some of my recent OPs are drawing a lot of good baseball discussion. Do a little browsing with an open mind.

And very few at GM meetings… traditionally, at the GM meetings POBO GM’s identify from the other GMs what positional needs they are seeking. Also what players may be available vs.untouchables
For example if Bloom asked if Donovan is available, he would most likely respond. ‘ Donnie has two years left prior to FA . It would take a major offer to give that up. We would listen to We would want top prospects in a deal.
No specific player offer made by interested team but other GM would know Bloom willing.
Bloom would leave the November meetings which teams to deal with on Donnie in Dec.winter Meetings in Orlando. Bloom can drive the price of return higher then.

well, this year, we need movement. There's a LOT to protect this coming Nov. 13th (last day of GM Meetings) for the Rule 5 draft. We NEED some clarity. Gray or Nado or Contreras has to be moved.
I know majority of off-season trades happen the first week of December during the Winter Meetings, but time isn't on our side this year.
Move one of those 3...or more if you can. Don't look to move Donovan or Noot just yet. Priority is those 3....get what you can, don't be stingy.
If we don't, then we risk losing players we might not be willing to lose...just yet.

I'm sure he is working on some trades but - going from memory - teams have 5 days after the end of the world series to sign pending free agents. Teams tend to wait until the free agent list is finalized before they make trades.
