there are some troubling parallels. While the Cardinals aren’t actively angling for relocation like the Rams did, their recent behavior has sparked fan frustration reminiscent of the Rams’ final years in St. Louis.

Similarities: Fan Apathy and Frustration
Declining Fan Engagement: The Cardinals are facing a noticeable drop in fan enthusiasm. A recent analysis noted that fan interest is at an all-time low, with many feeling the front office is “directionless”.

Empty Promises: After a disappointing 2023 season, the front office promised a pitching-focused rebuild. While they made some early moves, the offseason fizzled, leaving fans disillusioned.

Attendance Issues: The team is also grappling with an attendance problem, a red flag for any franchise with a proud history like St. Louis.

These trends echo the Rams’ final years in town, when ownership stripped down the roster, cut fan perks, and created a sense of abandonment before the move to Los Angeles
