Ohtani to start tonight then ...

... appears he will be followed by Glasnow (as he only threw 3 pitches last night ) . Scherzer for the Blue Jays .
Unless the game is a blowout type , any close tight game will have the fans (and media ) all over the losing manager for pitching decision(s) that didn't work out .
Nature of the beast . With guy(s) on base and you leave the pitcher IN and gives up run scoring hit/HR , the manager is a fool . If he pulls the pitcher in that scenario and the new reliever gives up hit/HR, the manager catches it too.
A good controversial play would be a highlight of the final game. For example, a blocking vs no blocking by a play at home plate.
A fan interference call reaching out into the field call . Foreign substance found on Scherzer lol
Oh well , we can always dream . As usual the game will probably hinge on some stupid baserunning mistake by a player or a mental lapse by a fielder on an easy catch . Those are much more likely .

Baseball is a funny game; looking forward to watching it all unfold. Time to put a bow on the 2025 season. Go Jays!

And since he will start the game he will get to take advantage of the Ohtani rule that was made specifically for him so he can stay in the game and hit. Seems fair am I right?

I suppose Yesavage would be in the mix also? He's young and has had a few days off. May never be back here again, time to suit up. This game could be decided by an error. Though one feels the looming shadow of Ohtani on the field. He seems to rise to the challenge.

It does seem right, since every pitcher in baseball is eligible to utilize the rule.

If I was managing game 7 I'd have a couple relievers getting loose at the first sign of trouble.

I doubt they’ll use Glasnow, but who knows.
I think it will be the Dodgers typical parade of relievers after Ohtani, and maybe Kershaw if they have a sizable lead.

It is truly amazing how often we see strikeouts or popups when runners are on 2B with no one out.
Glad it isn't just the Cardinals.

Toronto has outhit LA 64-43 and outscored them 30-21 so far.
They need to find a way to win this game.
