I’ve been saying it for years. St. Louis needs more power bats. We fallen into the very back of the pack.

Also, Home runs sell tickets. They are the opposite of boring baseball to the paying fans. Certain posters may not like it, but the market is always right.

The brewers had a chance to show that that style wins in the post season and failed so yea losing formulas are not going to have people drooling. It’s hard to string a bunch of hits together in the post season because of the great

Ticket sales aren't what drives revenue. Media rights drive revenue. A dull product sheds viewership. Viewership is a key determinant of the media rights negotiations. Yeah, boring baseball is going to cost MLB.

Feel better after the Blue Jays just dismantled the Dodgers?
Hope restored.

Well tonight’s winning team certainly didn’t win the game via the HR ball. Just ONE 2-run homer for the Blue Jays yet they scored 6 runs total. There goes the formula that to beat the Dodgers you must doing via HR ball.
The Jays dominated tonight by having nearly double the hits of the Dodgers.. 11 hits to 6

A few predicted Dodgers in 5 games . While I agree the Dodgers on paper are a more talented team, I do think some thought the Dodgers would breeze thru the WS due to their performance in the
NLCS. Some thought the Jays would be held fairly scoreless. Not the case.
The series is now a best 2 of 3.

Yeah, I respect and admire Ohtani, but the broadcast was over the top about his pitching tonight -- and nonstop stories about his personal life. Enough already. He lost and went 0-3 with 2 Ks.

And the Jays scored 4 runs with small ball. WS all square. Best 2 of 3.

I was lucky enough to see the Canadian broadcast of tonight's game. Didn't have to listen to the Ohtani love fest on fox. Joe Davis makes no secret of his Dodgers allegiance.

Interesting they talked about Ohtani 's personal life? Any mention of his gambling situation? Or should I say his interpreter's situation?

True unfortunately. Cardinals used to be the exception. Brewers are always just inept in the postseason.

A positive take would be that going back the last 18 World Series, an NL Central team has won 3 times…good for 1/6th of the time and considering there are six divisions….the central has done their part and due again! Lol

Good job informing us you’ll only see what you want to see. I’ve seen more balls in play, aggressive baserunning, bunts and strategy than any series in recent memory. Home runs have always been game changers… I guess you weren’t paying attention in whatever era you’re longing for either.
