There is no way that Army would trade away our #1 (Top5) this year for somebody's discard C, is there?
Please tell me "No" so that I can sleep tonight.

He'll extend Sunny...4yrs/$20m and people here will call it a steal of a signing like they did with Fowler.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 20:22 pm Uh oh. I'm smelling another desperation move by Army, ala Bolduc. You know the guy that needs for the team to stay competitive.

Army is not trading our first round pick which apparently is going to be a top 3 pick at this point…a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 20:22 pm Uh oh. I'm smelling another desperation move by Army, ala Bolduc. You know the guy that needs for the team to stay competitive.

So you wouldn’t have signed Fowler after the season he just had?smilinjoefission wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 21:02 pmHe'll extend Sunny...4yrs/$20m and people here will call it a steal of a signing like they did with Fowler.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 20:22 pm Uh oh. No, I would have let him play out his contract and see what numbers he put up this season in a full season. Doing this would have saved the Blues $18mill over 3 years...there was ZERO reason to extend him when they did.dtkblueshockey wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 22:05 pmSo you wouldn’t have signed Fowler after the season he just had?smilinjoefission wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 21:02 pmHe'll extend Sunny...4yrs/$20m and people here will call it a steal of a signing like they did with Fowler.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 20:22 pm Uh oh. Who should the Blues have gotten to do what he does?
Without Fowler, which Blues D would you move into top four? Kessel? Tucker?smilinjoefission wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 07:49 amNo, I would have let him play out his contract and see what numbers he put up this season in a full season. Exactly. There was no reason to get him extended. Outside the Lou. There isn't much want for 34yo defenders.smilinjoefission wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 07:49 amNo, I would have let him play out his contract and see what numbers he put up this season in a full season. But of course. There is not anything else he can do besides smelling.Inglewood Jack wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 21:26 pmThat desparation movement you smell is from the bowels, IBS.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 20:22 pm Uh oh. They way Fowler is playing he isn't Top 4...but the point remains NOTHING would have changed this season, Fowler was still under contract, he plays out this year, if he sucks he walks, if not we maybe make a play, if outbid we hunt for another Dman...this isn't rocket surgery, Fowler isn't someone you build around, he's basically a glorified Leddy.blues2112 wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 08:05 amWithout Fowler, which Blues D would you move into top four?
