Get in on some of this international pitching. The Cards don't seem to get that into that Asian market expect for and outfielder. That Yamamoto is the Dodgers best pitcher and it showed. Took a game in Toronto and they needed it badly.

Completely unfair to expect that from Bloom any more than it was to expect it from Mo.
Mootbaar was the guy who was going to get that done.

Kodai Senga signed with the Mets for about the same money as WC signed for with the Cards. I know he’s been injured some, but when healthy, he’s been pretty dang good. I don’t think we will ever sign one of the top of rotation Japanese players, though.

Thanks for the laugh.

That would be great
BUT
It's NOT up to C. Bloom, that will fall directly onto BDWJr to open the wallet and ALLOW him to sign one.
But
The lore of playing on the West Coast could make it tough even if Dewitt ponied up (HE WON'T) and offered more money (AGAIN, HE WON'T).
You can forget getting one of the good-great JPL pitchers.
More like a S. Taguchi level player for Dewitt who likes to have his POBO shop at KMart, not at Tiffany's.

That’s a dumb take. Noot might be able to get them to consider St. Louis but with Dewitt keeping the wallet closed they were never going to sign for 5 or 10 million in St. Louis no matter how much they like noot

Thought Bloom did in encouraging Flores to draft Liam Doyle.

I could imagine CT's reaction to him giving a $325 million contract to a pitcher who hadn't thrown an inning in MLB.

Funny how some people think it's just snap your fingers and you sign the guy who just threw one of the years best games. And he will ALWAYS do that for STL.
Of course signing him would mean STL missed the playoffs by only a game instead of where it finished. The laughs keep coming.

Don't forget the additional $50.6mm posting fee to the Orix Buffaloes just for the right to negotiate and sign that contract.

It’s funny that some think that those type players would sign with Stl at all…

No need to even speculate since BDWJr will NEVER, EVER do that.

That claim was made by Moootbaar and the team.
Not me.
