I am thinking fairly quickly… and you ?

Nov. 10-13 is the GM meetings in Las Vegas

Takes two to tango........

.......but I'd bet C. Bloom already has his ducks in a line and his phone will be going non-stop until he finds a dance partner!

Still could take a while though for trades to start materializing.

My bet is there are already a lot of deals in the air that might be finalized after the WS. No reason to wait. That was last years mistake. Holding Fedde and Helsley when their value was at it's peak to appease the people who still thought they could contend in 2025.

Come on that is a weak troll. You gotta up your game. Find something that really stings. But that? Pffft.

do I assume correctly that he can talk trade with other GMs now but just not pull the trigger until after the WS?

From what I know birds' they can "talk" all they want at any time.

BUT

MLB forbids trades for players on a 40-man roster during the playoffs.

Is it actually forbidden or just considered poor taste?

My guess is he uses the Winter Meetings to have serious discussions and follow up on any groundwork he's laid up to that point. Maybe a deal then or shortly after.

Not sure on trade, think it will be a winter of player and money $$ giveaway. A gift event!

Can they be worked in the background, just not announced until after the WS?
