Hernandez'(poop) was followed by the go ahead hit by George Hendrick, one of my favorites.
I was too young for 1967, so I waited for thirteen years of fandom before the Cardinals won in 1982. I'll never forget it!

I wasn't .. My first WS for the Cardinals was 1964 when I was a sophomore in HS. Then saw 1967 first year in college, then 1968 when I was 20 yrs. old
