Seriously, how do you compete with that?

No doubt an all-time memorable game but remember the guy didn ‘t do squat the first 3 games. Struggled mightily at the plate.

I believe Bob Gibson if he had been given the opportunity to play as a two way player he could have been close to Ohtani. Gibson was also a better defensive player who could have played SS or centerfield where Ohtani doesn’t play the field.

Wonder how Ohtani will do in WS.
Thus far in playoffs, he has struggled hitting just .220
He has just 9 hits in 10 games.

That was a. All-time game last night but the other 9 games have not been much at all. One game in series gave him MVP honors.

Great players always have it in em. Remember Pujols hardly did anything in the 2011 WS outside of his 3 HR game (oh and his double in Game 6).

Even more remarkable. Completely off kilter for the series, and in one game connects three times. And they weren’t cheap shots.

Nice performance.

Dude is 31 years old and he's getting better? Okay, I'm calling it. He made a deal with a crossroads demon. LOL

He pitched 6 scoreless with 10 Ks. He’ll do fine.

Movies will be made about this man. The talent is undeniable. I hope they go on to win the WS.
