What is going on with injuries?

Not unusual for players to get nagging injuries treated during the off-season. My question is: it's the post-season, where are the Cardinals?

Both Donovan and Noot have been mentioned as possible trade chips, my question is will the heel shavings on Noot and sports hernia on Donnie affect either or both trade possibilities ?

I wouldn’t think so. Neither are major issues unlike knee surgery or shoulder surgery

My question is when did the Cards know these 3 would need surgery? If known by August 15th, why did they wait? Put them on the IL and do it then. Not like our beloved was going to be a playoff team.
Three players who could bring back prospects/players in trades and wait to have surgery immediately after the season, weird.

Evidently Haglunds deformity takes 5-10 yrs to get to point of needing surgery. So, yes, Cardinals knew about Noots condition.
It requires removing damaged portions of Achilles and reattachment to heel plus any damaged bone growth. Various surgeons indicate it takes 7 months to return to competition. Rupturing the Achilles after surgery is major concern for athletes.
