lol I see your point and you’re right if you think about you can’t even hate their ownership their franchise makes a boatload of money and they spend it to make the team as good as possible it’s not their responsibility to let other teams have a chance to beat them

The economic issues makes them extremely easy to dislike. Them winning is not good for baseball.

Ya think maybe the return on investment in sales in the Japanese market maybe pays for Ohtani and then some. The extra local TV dollars are also pretty hefty. They can pay for the best resources in scouting, coaching and developing their minor leaguers as well as scouting other teams prospects which they can acquire in trades.
In summary, it’s the money! Duh.

that's how I feel about the Brewers except I hate most of their players as well

Can't stand that organization. Freeman seems like a phoney. And Ohtani got away with something others served lifetime bans for. They manipulate the IL.

Hilarious. An opinion about a player you don't know. A anger statement wanting a player banned when no rule violation was found. And a whiney statement that a team follows rules concerning injuries, but you don't like that they do.

I watch because it’s the best players baseball has to offer. Outside of the teams that made the postseason very few have a true star. All the names are in the tourney.

It represents the best baseball. Nothing wrong with good baseball.

How can you enjoy watching a team that has such a revenue advantage? It cheapens the sport. It's not truly a competitive athletic competition when one team can field a team that was put together with unlimited resources.

MLB is not a serious sport until the cap arrives. When even F1 finally went to a cap....and now the professional soccer/football is doing the same.....there is only one sport left to take the plunge. Make it fair. Make it a sport again.
