I'm finding it hard to hate the Dodgers

They all just seem like really good players. I don't want to punch any of them.

Yeah, but they don't have any annoying twerps like Jeter or circus clowns like Manny Ramirez, or detestable human beings like Roger Clemens or Curt Schilling.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 22:01 pm I like some of the players but hate the team and hope they lose
lol I see your point and you’re right if you think about you can’t even hate their ownership their franchise makes a boatload of money and they spend it to make the team as good as possible it’s not their responsibility to let other teams have a chance to beat themDicktar2023 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 23:10 pmYeah, but they don't have any annoying twerps like Jeter or circus clowns like Manny Ramirez, or detestable human beings like Roger Clemens or Curt Schilling.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 22:01 pm I like some of the players but hate the team and hope they lose
The Dodgers buy up all the talent and then they're not even good villains.
They don’t have Ryan Braun either. Oh wait, he’s why I still hate the Brewers.Dicktar2023 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 23:10 pmYeah, but they don't have any annoying twerps like Jeter or circus clowns like Manny Ramirez, or detestable human beings like Roger Clemens or Curt Schilling.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 22:01 pm I like some of the players but hate the team and hope they lose

The economic issues makes them extremely easy to dislike. Them winning is not good for baseball.Dicktar2023 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 21:46 pm They all just seem like really good players. I don't want to punch any of them.
Ya think maybe the return on investment in sales in the Japanese market maybe pays for Ohtani and then some. The extra local TV dollars are also pretty hefty. They can pay for the best resources in scouting, coaching and developing their minor leaguers as well as scouting other teams prospects which they can acquire in trades.
that's how I feel about the Brewers except I hate most of their players as wellOzziesfan41 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 22:01 pm I like some of the players but hate the team and hope they lose
Hilarious. An opinion about a player you don't know. A anger statement wanting a player banned when no rule violation was found. And a whiney statement that a team follows rules concerning injuries, but you don't like that they do.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑14 Oct 2025 00:19 am Can't stand that organization. Freeman seems like a phoney. And Ohtani got away with something others served lifetime bans for. They manipulate the IL.
How can you enjoy watching a team that has such a revenue advantage? It cheapens the sport. It's not truly a competitive athletic competition when one team can field a team that was put together with unlimited resources.Dicktar2023 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 21:46 pm They all just seem like really good players.
